Stigmaria ficoides root fossil pair from the Czech Republic (10,1 Kg)
Carbon 318-325 million years old Stigmaria ficoides (brangrass tree?) Root fossil pair. The plant fossil came to the surface during coal mining in the Czech Republic near the town of Karviná in August 2021. The dimensions of the charcoal stones containing the plant fossil are approximately: (A) 313 mm x 193 mm x 81 mm and weigh approximately 6.3 kg. (B): 318 mm x 145 mm x 79 mm, weight approx: 3.8 Kg + packaging. The surface of the fossil is preserved against dusting.
