Young Coelodonta antiquitatis Woolly rhino partial jaw (147 mm)
Pleistocene Coelodonta antiquitatis (woolly rhinoceros) partial jaw. The jaw bone fragment is from a young rhino. In the jaw bone, a fully developed semi-developed tooth can be found under the tooth root of the deciduous tooth. The rhinoceros fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Jaw dimensions approx .: length 147 mm, height 80 mm, width 32 mm. Weight approx: 178 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with cyanoacrylate.
