Pleistocene age cf. Elephas antiquus, formerly known as Palaeoloxodon antiquus, partial tooth. This elephant fossil was unearthed during mining in Heves County, Hungary. The dimensions of the tooth are approximately: length: 80 mm, height: 124 mm, width: 79 mm. Weight: 1001 grams + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Buryral 30 dissolved in ethanol. Drying cracks are visible on the tooth.
