Seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus?) partial sacrum vertebra SOLD (NR) 01
Partial sacrum vertebra bone of a Pleistocene seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus?). The seal fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea, near the coast of the Netherlands. When found, the bone was broken in two but was glued together. The dimensions of the vertebral bone are approx.: length 129 mm, height 50 mm, width 87 mm. Weight approx.: 114 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with Collal glue.
