Equus sp. partial pelvic bone
Pleistocene Equus sp. (horse) partial pelvic bone. The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: length 236 mm, width 103 mm, thickness 51 mm. Weight approximately: 353 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30. The drying cracks visible on the bone have been filled with cyanoacrylate.
