Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial left lateral lower jaw. 4 whole teeth can be seen in the jaw bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. Dimensions of the jaw: length 383 mm, height 110 mm, width 34 mm. Weight approx.: 656 grams + packaging. The surface of the jaw is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
