Jurassic ammonite polish from Tardos (345 mm x 300 mm)
Limestone grinding containing ammonites of Jurassic age (approx. 180-150 million years). The place of origin of ammonites is Hungary, Gerecse mountains, Tardos, limestone mine. One side and the edges of the ammonite slab are polished. The dimensions of the stone are approx.: length 345 mm, width 300 mm, thickness 22 mm. Its weight is approx. 5.9 Kg + packaging. The largest ammonite has a maximum diameter of 102 mm. A few tiny 9-10 mm ammonites can also be seen on the polished limestone slab.
