Footprint fossil of young Komlosaurus carbonis in pair
A pair of fossil footprints of a dinosaur called Komlosaurus carbonis from a 200-million-year-old young individual from the Jurassic age. The Komlosaurus footprint came to the surface during open-pit coal mining in Hungary in the Mecsek Mountains, near the settlement of Pécs-Vasas, about 20 years ago. The dimensions of the stones containing the footprint are approx: (A): 330 mm x 230 mm x 74 mm. The weight of the stone is approx. 9.7 Kg + packaging. (B): 340mm x 248mm x 45mm. Weight: approx. 6.2 Kg + packaging. The stone is in its natural state, not preserved.
