Calcite from the Cserhát Mountains
Calcite crystals on bedrock. The calcite crystals were found during limestone mining in the Cserhát Mountains in Hungary. The dimensions of the stone containing the crystals are approx. 208 mm x 117 mm x 65 mm. Weight approx. 1203 grams + packaging. One side of the stone is cut. Thin manganese dendrites are visible inside the larger calcite crystals.
