Coenothyris vulgaris brachiopod fossil from Mecsek Mountains
A stone containing brachiopods called Coenothyris vulgaris from the Triassic period. More than 12 brachiopods can be seen in the stone. The fossil was unearthed during limestone mining in the Mecsek Mountains in Hungary. The dimensions of the stone are approx.: 128 mm x 92 mm x 32 mm. Weight approx.: 361 grams + packaging.
