Bison priscus (steppe bison) metatarsal bone. The remains of the bone came to the surface during mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length 302 mm, width 79 mm, thickness 65 mm. Weight: approx. 899 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
