Bison priscus partial pelvic bone (314 mm)
Bison priscus (steppe bison) partial pelvic bone. The remains of the bone came to the surface during mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length 314 mm, width 122 mm, thickness 79 mm. Weight: approx. 553 grams + packaging. Drying cracks are visible on the bone. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
