Bison sp. astragalus bone
Pleistocene Bison sp. (bison) astragalus bone. The bison fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approximately: 97 mm x 63 mm x 47 mm. Weight approx.: 255 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
