Bison sp. metacarpal bone. The remains of the bone came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The size of the bone is approx.: length 263 mm, width 80 mm, thickness 48 mm. Weight approx.: 697 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
