Clypeaster portentosus from Spain SOLD (T) 07
Miocene (Serravallian) Clypeaster portentosus sea urchin fossil in subalpine. The sea urchin originates from Aznalcóllar, Spain. The dimensions of the fossil are approximately: length 176 mm, width 163 mm, height 131 mm. In the lower part of the sea urchin, you can see bedrock about 2 cm thick. Its weight is 2317 grams + packaging. The surface of the sea urchin is nicely prepared, even the places of the sea urchin spines are clearly visible.
