Clypeaster sardiniensis from Hungary SOLD (FM) 06
Miocene (Baden) aged Clypeaster sardiniensis Sea urchin fossil. The Clypeaster has surfaced in Hungary, near Fazekasboda during sand mining. Clypeaster about the size of 114 mm x 106 mm x 42 mm. It weighs about 460 grams + packing. The sea urchin was so heavily fractured, the lower part of the larger cracks were impregnated with glue.
