Diptera ( true fly ) fossil in Dominican amber
Inclusion of Miocene (approx. 30 million years old) Diptera (true fly) in amber. There is also a small inclusion of another living creature in the amber, which I have not been able to identify so far. Amber originates from Dominica. The dimensions of the amber are approximately: 22 mm x 11 mm x 8 mm. Weight: approx. 2 grams + packaging. I give the amber in a plastic storage box of approx. 28 mm x 28 mm x 21.5 mm. The amber has an English and Italian language certification confirming its authenticity.
