Equus sp. partial dorsal vertebra
Pleistocene Equus sp. (ancient horse) vertebral bone. The horse fossil was unearthed during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: length 86 mm, height 133 mm, width 87 mm. Weight approx.: 172 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyviny Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
