Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth) partial phalanx. The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The dimensions of the bone are approx.: length 138 mm, thickness 66 mm, width 90 mm. Weight: approx. 315 grams + packaging. The surface of the bone is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30 dissolved in ethanol.
