Otodus megalodon partial shark tooth (106 x 101 mm) from Indonesia
Miocene - The tooth of a Pliocene Otodus megalodon (formerly known as Carcharocles megalodon) shark. The shark tooth fossil comes from West Jawa in Indonesia. The dimensions of the tooth including the bedrock are approx. 106 mm x 101 mm x 29 mm. Weight approx: 204 grams + packaging. The megalodon will have a beautiful, nice sawed cutting edge. The root part of the tooth has dissolved, the bedrock can be seen in its place. The partial tooth came out in two pieces but was glued together.
