The tooth of the Miocene - Pliocene shark Otodus megalodon (formerly known as Carcharocles megalodon). The shark tooth fossil is from West Java in Indonesia. Tooth size approx: 47.5mm x 56.5mm x 15mm. Weight approx.: 26 grams + packaging. The cutting edge of the megalodon is beautiful, with a nice serration. The part of the root of the tooth is in a redissolved state.
