The tooth of the Miocene - Pliocene shark Otodus megalodon (formerly known as Carcharocles megalodon). The shark tooth fossil is from West Java in Indonesia. The size of the tooth is approximately: 60 mm x 40 mm x 15 mm. Weight approx.: 28 grams + packaging. The cutting edge of the megalodon is beautiful, with a nice serration. The part of the root of the tooth is in a redissolved state.
