Pathological Mammuthus primigenius partial upper tooth (7.7 Kg) SOLD (A) 10
Pathological (abnormal growth) partial upper tooth of Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth). The mammoth fossil came to the surface during gravel mining in Pest County, Hungary. The two pieces of the tooth were found, but unfortunately they cannot be fitted exactly together, so they were not glued together. The dimensions of the two pieces of teeth are approximately: (A): length 98 mm, height 184 mm, width 125 mm. Weight: 1900 grams + packaging. (B): length: 189 mm, height 224 mm, width 131 mm. Its weight is 5.8 Kg + packaging. The surface of the tooth is preserved with a substance called Polyvinyl Butyral 30.
