Seal Pagophilus groenlandicus? partial neck vertebra (63 mm)
Partial neck vertebra bone of a Pleistocene seal (Pagophilus groenlandicus?). The seal fossil was found during trawling in the North Sea, near the coast of the Netherlands. The dimensions of the vertebral bone are approximately: length 39 mm, height 46 mm, width 63 mm. Weight: approx. 30 grams + packaging. The surface of the vertebral bone is preserved with Collal glue dissolved in acetone.
